Ive noticed some mould growing on some of my VFT the last couple of days and its getting worse.
But i think i know the reason. Ive been growing them in a cold frame outside and started putting a cover on it on cold nights and taking it off in the morning which i think is causing too much damp and no ventilation.

The mould itself only seems to be forming on the inside of traps at the moment so ive put some fungicide on with a small paintbrush but im not sure how good it is. Does anyone know what sort of fungicide is best? Ive heared of people using sulpher based powder but i cant seem to find any.

I wont be covering them up any more but its started to make me think what to do for dormancy to protect them from freezing.

some pics of it although i do have others with worse amounts of mould, poor quality but i only have a phone camera.

I use a neem-oil based product, i can't think of the name right off hand but it is available at Home Depot and most anywhere that carries insecticide/fungicide. Neem oil is organic and though not extremely potent, if you use it regularly (a treatment every 7 days or so) it will work VERY well to stop fungus, pests, etc.

Sulfur based is the best! the ones with Chemicals will really harm your plant

After treating your plants try increasing exposure to sunlight and also increasing ventilation or the mold will most likely return.

Sounds really expensive! But I'm sure that it will work just great.
