I didn't want a nepenthes because I really don't have anyway to grow one. Outside it will either get 100% shade or 6-8 hours of direct sunlight and inside all I have is a west facing window that gets 2-4 hours of sunlight through the window depending on time of year. Neither of these being a good option for growing nepenthes.

But I figured for $25 I would give it a try, worse case I am out $25.

You should be able to grow that nep anywhere Lol! It gets over 100°f here I forget to water it sometimes and I straight up neglect mine , it doesn't care at all and just keeps pumping out those pitchersImageImageImage

It should be fine really my whole front yard is shaded by 2 giant pecan trees but the ventrata takes full sun from about 8 am to 4 pm so the hottest part of the day it takes sun and doesn't complain

Amazon, $25. There is a seller/nursery that sells really nice and large N. Ventrata's. There is another seller/nursery on Ebay that sell the same thing but promises that they are even bigger than the Amazon seller/nursery but for $35.

Im debating tossing it outside, decisions decisions.

If your in Texas and your growing your neps outside then I think im going to give it a go.

Ill put it outside today, ill take pics to post lol

Im in Michigan so my growing season is really short, it will have to come inside for the winter months.

Outside. In this spot it will get roughly 5 hours of direct sun, total shade the rest of the day.
