So, according to the weather, it is my turn to deal with a hurricane. It is nowhere near as strong as the ones that other members have had to deal with, but it's still going to produce some heavy winds and loads of rain. Needless to say, my day is going to be spent moving my plants under our covered porch and trying to secure them from the wind. Wish me luck, all.

I'm in Alabama. But I live on a mountain and the wind is already picking up here so I'm going to go ahead and move them. Better safe than sorry, lol.

mine is power outage + 2 adult cats, a 7month old kitten, 5 month old kitten and 5 8wk old kittens, and like 12 cps to keep away from all the felines

i can most definitively say this is a breeze compared to katrina in 05....that was crazy fun (to me) cause i love bad weather...i sat on my porch all day for her...its been too hot to sit outside for nate
