Hello everyone it's privilege to be apart this forum and happy to add another hobby to my life.
So I have two families, it's been like a month since I got them.
I grow both inside and out. But most of the time there outside.
And I know that we are suppose to let them stay outside. Because thats how they thrive.
But in my situation the cats around here keeps messing with my traps
Already lost two beautiful traps.
So that why I keep them out in the day while I'm at work and bring in at night so the night crawler won't get to them
But most of all, their still healthy from what I see.
There sprouting traps like crazy.
There lots questions that I have since I am a newbie

Shotgun filled with.... catnip. Problem solved, I read between the lines Optimus. Cat gets super high and stares at its paw all day. Forgets plants exist and decides to go to art school. WIN-WIN-WIN

They usually deform when they are not receiving enough light

Hmm probably from last week. There was zero sun that week and pretty sure that caused it to grow that way
Hopefully the grow light can fix that.

This is weird, this one hasn't even bloom yet and its turning black already.
And the picture that I posted of the deform one. It still hasn't bloom either
What does this mean?

The trap looks like it has indigestion. They turn black like that when the don't seal properly.

It hasn't formed yet though
snap em up!!!
Exactly it hasn't even bloom yet.
The only thing I can think of is the recent grow light changes.
I switched to the white/red/blue light and maybe soon after that one start turn black.
I switched back to the red/blue light that I originally had, cause it seem like I was getting better results vs the white/red/Blue spectrum light.

I notice this growing in the center of the vft, is this part of it?
I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but I'm new to this guy's

Congrats! you've got a flower stalk (i'm pretty sure at least)if you give it enough light and feed it well you may get some seeds, otherwise, you should cut it since it takes up a lot of energy. if you choose to cut it, wait a bit longer so that you can make flower stalk cuttings. cut the stalk into 2~4 inch segments and stick it into the dirt and give it lots of humidity. (btw, you don't have to use the same post for all of your questions. you could make a new thread but that's up to you)

Nice, but I cut it off due to all the rumors about it sucking energy out of whole plant.
But I heard that only if the vft is not healthy.
OH well it's off
Is it true that if you cut that, your traps will produce bigger traps?
And thanks will do.
