If you can get the one pictured, use it as is, just a light spray once a week. If you have to get the concentrated stuff, dilute as directed and spray lightly once a week

I have a pot with some small traps. If I get some on the traps, will that be bad?

As long as you keep it light, no it won't hurt them.
