How’s my moss?

How is my moss propagation? I’m noticing the yellow-brown “root” of the moss is getting a tad greener. It has been about a week.

Think your best bet is to buy live sphagnum and cut those up. My water tds always below 15.albertoburrito wrote: I’m noticing the yellow-brown “root” of the moss is getting a tad greener. That might just be algae forming...
albertoburrito wrote:I actually an propagating it from some live moss. It is a light green, not dark or slimy. If i do get algae, how do I get rid of it?It looks like the plant melted then algae took over. Live moss should have anti-septic properties so there shouldn’t be any algae growing directly on it, unless its dead. Not sure whats your method, but check water tds, check your light and also check if you are drowning them.
