I am reppoting my plant.

I saw in videos that the top of the rhizome should be seen from above the soil, but I noticed that when I put the plant that way it gets quite loose and can be pulled out pretty easily.

Did I plant it right?

Ok thanks, but it does get a minimum of 8 hours of direct sunlight everyday, so I guess I should keep that up and it would heal itself...

Is that indoors or out? If it is indoors, the window is absorbing some of that light. Has it been growing in these conditions all along, or is this new?

I have had it for 2 months, and only recently (last 1-2 weeks) I've started to give it proper sunlight.
My windows have 2 panes, so I only close them when there are strong winds (I live in a high place).

Q: will the leaves who are already grown improve their appearence after being given proper sunlight? Or will they go black and the new leaves grow properly?

Thanks

So, that light sounds good. The older leaves will not change shape, but they may deepen in color. Your new leaves should look better as the plant gets used to the increased light.
