how can sphag best be stored?

by CPcaregiver » Sat Mar 24, 2012 9:59 pm

Hello all,I recently re potted some plants, and I moved my VFT into my alata pot.My problem is that I changed out the substrate in my Orchid pot for orchid bark, and now I am the proud owner of a bucket of almost new dry Sphagnum. Here I am going on and on  My question is,How can I store this excess Sphagnum? Is it best to completely dry it out and freeze it?

I store my dried sphagnum and peat both in a dry plastic container with a lid. I'm not sure if thats the best but it works for me.
