I figured out a use for all these credit-card shaped plastic cards that come in junk mail all the time. Just cut them in fourths the long way and cut a point on one end and you have - Plant tags!

South Louisiana is the home of parades celebrating everything from Mardi Gras to area foods, nationalities, religious days, and more holidays than most of us know. Every parade has beautiful floats who's riders throw commerative drinking cups. These plastic cups are easily cut into markers to identify our plants and pertinent information like dates, source, and more.

You could cut up plastic milk containers as well? Re-using is better than recycling!
