Jose do everyone a favor and knock it off. You’re only instigating and as I looked through your posts you’ve helped barely any people, if any at all on this forum. As I looked through Nepenthes0260’s posts he has helped many people within the past week or two. And if he is 14 so what? He seems to have a much better charector than what I’ve seen from you.

Agreed. Jose is one post away from a ban. Somene's age doesn't matter at all. Their knowledge is what matters and how much they wish to share it to help others.

From what I've seen recently from your posts, Jose, you're not helpful but are condescending and somewhat rude.

This is a warning to stop being that way or you will be banned from participating here on the FlytrapCare forums.

I highly doubt that, he has a big greenhouse and I don’t think many 14 year olds are able to convince their parents to buy them a greenhouse for a plant obsession that the parents probably hate.
Don't get me started.. My parents already don't like the tank and trays all around the house. If I even said 'greenhouse', they would not like it at all.

I don't like to talk very much about other members, but I'm wondering about opinions on Jose. I have sent him a bunch of darlingtonia seeds in exchange for a "D. alba", which he claims is one of very few in the United States. I'm wondering about the veritability of the tag? It looks suprisingly like D. cistiflora so I wouldn't be suprised if it was some kind of white flowered clone.

Sorry about this,
HC

Glad you brought that up. You didn’t ask for a picture when we did the trade. Here a picture from about a month ago. The two red ones are alba and the green one is cistiflora. These were the first ones I deflasked and are potted together for just this comparison (and cause I am running out of space). Nep0260 received one of these alba in a trade:

No problem. I may be “negative” but I try to be constructive ;)

I should have been clearer. You were one more demeaning or unkind post away from being banned. In other words, I'm watching closely to ensure appropriate and kind behavior is the standard on this forum. If you can do that you will be afforded unlimited posts ;)

Those D. Alba look neat. I'm starting to want some of the more exotic/uncommon species I guess lol.

Hoping to get it to this stage in a month or so once the growth really gets going:
