I'm sure I'm not the first to have done this, but I shook out a pinguicula seed pod into a plastic container. Much to my chagrin, some of the seeds are sticking to the side of the container because of static electricity. Has anyone come up with a good way to deal with this? At this point, all I can think of is to use my finger to wipe them out onto a piece of paper.

Back in the day old photo equipment used to use small amounts of radioactive material. It was really effective, actually. Other than that you could try working in a humidity box.

Growing up, we had a "gun" that we used to eliminate static cling on clothing. When you pulled the trigger it generated a charge that would shock you if it was close enough to your skin, but neutralized the charge of the clothing, so it fell away from itself.
Maybe they still sell something like that that might help.

When I was a kid, I'd get rid of a static electricity charge by touching my sister's ear.
