Howdy everyone!

A CP grower in the area was moving recently and gave me a Ping but he wasn’t sure or could not remember what it’s called. Could you guys help me out? I am NOT well versed with pings at all.

Also, there are these odd flower stalk like growths coming from the soil - any idea what it might be? Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like it could be P. Vulgaris.
As to the hitchhiker, probably moss or a weed.

Many pings are difficult to ID when they aren't blooming. It could be a vulgaris like ChefDean said; it might be a caerulea or lutea. The only want to know for sure is to wait for a flower.

The little flower stalks coming from the soil belong to an Ultricularia species (terrestrial bladderwort, also carnivorous). Like the ping, it's difficult to say what species until the flowers open.

My best guess due to the triangle leaves and sharp rolling on them is a Caerulea.

Wait for flowers though.
