Hello from Oregon, everyone!
A brief bio: I'm ScienceGirl, and I love animals, plants, science, and anything living. I currently own: one dog (a male Havaton = Havanese and Coton De Tulear mix), 1 Carniolan Honey Bee colony (going to get an Italian colony soon), and three standard fly traps.
I bought one flytrap at our local garden store last spring. I did my research, and read that an average of 6-8 leaves is normal; I was surprised to count 18 traps. Well, it would figure that my plant would be extra productive, right? In late summer, my flytrap had developed enough so that I could distinguish not one, but three plants!
Very excited to meet you all!
