Hi there!
After opening up a bag of soil that ended up being full of gnats flying all over the place, I decided to get a venus fly trap. Then I learned VFTs don't seem to care for gnats
Or even the soil my plant came in (I bought it at the supermarket). After a quick Google and YouTube search, now I'm itching to create my first terrarium.
I've managed to find a smallish bag of perlite, spagmoss, and can't seem to find silica sand that doesn't come in a 50LB bag So I decided to join the forum to learn from the experts!
