if you do get seed they probably wont be adapted and wont have traps, but might have vft petioles. why does everyone like the traps, and not the petioles?

thats sorta the point. the whole CP hobby is a novelty of sorts. learning to adapt and grow a plant that would be considered difficult by most and urging it to thrive. not to mention it feels good to raise and care for something that is a bit unusual... snapdragons are common, roses are roses... why not raise and nurture something a little more exotic?
