You young guys (and gals) remind me of when I started. When I was 15, I discovered a bog in upstate New York which was carpeted in Drosera intermedia. That started a 40 year obsession with these plants. Back in the day we didn't have internet or email. I found every magazine article I could find and got every catalog possible. Most 'catalogs' were simply a typed list of species and price. I grew mostly tropicals. I fussed too much over temperates to keep them alive. After being out of the hobby for many years, a random trip to the Green Swamp in NC, and seeing flytraps in their native habitat lit the fire for the hobby again. Now my temperate bogs enjoy the humid South and my daughter is starting to get into the hobby. Enjoy the hobby gentlemen and ladies. Appreciate the variety, information, and access you have available. This is a great time to be in the hobby.

It is actually several. Two proper bogs in 15 gallon feed troughs, two 15 gallon containers with pots of sarracenia, drosera, and VFT, my daughter's mini bog, and a couple of other trays of misc sarracenia, drosera, and nepenthes. I've got a lot of S. flavas that I am going to be trading and giving away this fall.

Im guessing flies aren't a problem on your porch with all them around. Aren't you tempted to pot all your vft and other cps in that large container together it would look amazing but then again tray watering would be out the question as well as probably moving it around with all the weight. Is it even possible I literally no next to nothing about any cp that isn't vft can they cohabit?

I mean the other cp already in with the vft sundews etc.

The trays are just for my potted divisions. I want to build a larger garden but the only part of my yard that gets enough sun is the front lawn. My wife loves me but not enough to let me turn the front yard into a bog.
