Hi everybody ! My name is Mike and I live in Kearny New Jersey USA ! I'm the former
information services director ( fancy name for head computer geek ) of a large New
Jersey newspaper, and now owner of a cable TV equipment recovery company.

My main passion is breeding and raising tropical fish and I've developed a pretty
good reputation amongst my fellow hobbyists in the tri-state area.

Now I've moved on to Venus Flytaps and my like my aquarium hobby it's developing into
kind of an obsession. I've been into flytraps since I bought a puny little specimine about
a year and a half ago in the local Home Depot store.

The more I researched the hobby the more I've become fascinated with it. I've corresponded
with some very interesting people online and purchased a lot of plants in various varieties.
I've had various levels of success and with all of your help I look forward to making great
strides in the hobby.

I'm married ( luckily ) to a sweet and understanding Fillipino wife. I'm sure that she
thinks I'm crazy. I can see by the look on her face every time a new plant arrives in the mail.
Or whenever she see's me constructing a better terrarium !

This forum is terrific, and so far it's the best source of knowledge I've found on this
fascinating hobby !
