I just picked up a nepenthes from lowes, probably a ventrata, and I am going to rescue it tomorrow(it is late rn). I will be using pure LFSM and giving it 12 hours of artificial light from t5 bulbs. The growth point is healthy from what I can see. I will repot it tomorrow. Is there anything I need to watch out for? Also, the indoor humidity is about 40%, so how should i raise it a little, or is that necessary?

If you're repotting, I would bag it to give the roots a chance to get settled.

A quick trick for temporary humidity control is just to stick a clear plastic bag over it - just don't leave it that way for longer than a week or so or you're tempting pathogens.

Good luck with it! :D

I had some basals that I was rooting. I kept them in plastic bags under grow lights for several weeks. But I did open the bags every day and inspected the plants.
