Hi guys
I have 2 x 36watt inline t8 fittings and 3 water trays inside a closet.
Both fittings are connected to separate timers and runs 12hour a day (fitting1 runs from 6am-6pm and fitting 2 runs from 6pm-6am)

The distance from plants to the bulbs is 5.7 inches.
The t8 brand is Philips 865 36w 6500k cool daylight

I can’t figure out what the best distance will be from the light source.
The thermometer which is located in the centre if the layout shows that temperature range between 19’c-22’c
What will be the best way to know without waiting to see if the plants show any side effects?

Here is the layout of the fittings

I would assume you would be fine just the way it is, but you could probably lower the lights or raise the plants an inch or two. Just pay attention to the plants if they look like they are not liking it then move it back to the original distance. You will see side effects within 24 hrs if they don't like it. I don't think you will have that problem cuz most side effects are from heat generated and led lights are low heat dissipation.
