Okay, I have some bad news and good news. First the bad news. The soil for my D. Tokaiensis seedlings and my D. Capensis seedlings completely dried out while I was on vacation. I am fairly certain that the two sprouts in each container died. So, what I am wondering is this: since the other seeds had not germinated yet, is there a chance that they will still germinate? Since they are fresh seeds, I am hoping that they will simply take the dryness without dying, and sprout when it is wet again. Your advice is appreciated.

Second is the good news: I received my two D. Filiformis plants from Nevermore, and they both have flower stalks coming up. As soon as they dew I will feed them, get the seeds, and then let them go dormant. Thank you Nevermore!

Anyway, that is all, I will update on Sunday, the baby flytraps are still going strong!

YES! I got two capensis sprouts shortly after I started watering again! Very happy about that! We will see about the tokaiensis, but it was always slow to begin with.

Sorry everybody, lately I have been busy and have not had time to take photos. Here is the next update! I am feeding them regularly, but still, they are not getting larger, much. Coloring up nicely and growing vigorously with a lot of leaves, yes, but not much bigger traps. Guess I just need to be patient

Anyway, the mold (or just white stuff) While not harming the plants, still is there. Even with a fan, it has not gone away. I do not know if this will harm them at some point, and I need a fungicide, or not. If I do need to do something, what is the best fungicide for seedlings? Thanks for all opinions!

Yes I did! I sowed them with the flytraps, and I will transplant when they come up! The flytraps are growing roots around 1 1/2 in. long and so I will be transplanting them at some point, probably when the indica are old enough.

Thanks! I will try to stay on top of picture-taking. When you wrote that article about feeding on the flytrapcare home, how do YOU feed the little tiny traps? Do I just need to do my best and wait for them to get a bit bigger and then really try to feed?

Next update! I have an important question, three actually. As you can see from the pictures, the Alien-like flytrap is not doing well. I went out and bought LFS for the first time, and plan to use that for the next time I transplant. I did pot the Alien-like in LFS hoping to baby it to putting out more traps. Second question, is that little green pit of moss alive? Could I perhaps cultivate my own colony from that, or is it not going to work?

Third question, how do I fertilize the Alien-like flytrap? Its traps cannot close fully or seal, so if I can get instructions on how to fertilize, what strength, etc that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for looking and any answers! :D
