Genetic diversity run amok

I get the whole genetic diversity of seeds, but this is ridonculous. To the best of my knowledge these all came from the same batch for Capensis 'Big Pink seeds. The color variation makes sense to me but what is the deal with the chunky monkey leaves on the last picture? Is this also a cape feature? These are my first capes, BTW. I've been more of a temperate CP guy up to this point.
Big Pink. I get that.

Big pink wont grow true from seed you can get Albinos and redish type because those are parentage

Albino x red

Looking good!

Cape Big Pink is a cross between a typical cape and a cape alba. Selfed BP gives a lot more diversity than pure selfed alba or typical. Most of my selfed cape typical or alba come out looking like carbon copies of the mother plant, lol.

So are the leaves on the bottom one typical? They are much thicker than the other plants.

Check out the Drosera capensis pics on the Grow Sundews website. The wide-leaf variety is even bigger than your last plant.

Incorrect. Big pink is red x albino

Oops, guess that makes sense though.

Those wide-leaved ones look interesting. I'd keep an eye on them as they grow!
