My cephalotus were doing great and now ig seems that this one is dead. I dont want the rest of my ceohalotus to die as well. I noticed a lot of fungus gnats around the cephalotus now. Can they be the cause of the deaths or is there something wrong that I am doing? I have them in my window sill which they get plenty of sunlight and is a high humidty environment. I also water them every two to three days.

Fungus gnats are harmless, and actually make for good meals for CPs such as Pinguicula and Drosera. The larvae of fungus gnats can be troublesome, however. I do not grow Cephs, so I am not the right person to comment on the health of your plants, but here is a good link to review regarding CP pests.

I can see fungus gnats being beneficial for cephs. Once I got rid of spider mites in my collection, fungus gnats and springtails seemed to survive the my pest control. I am happy with them though. They feed my purpurea and clean up whats left of bugs in my VFTs.

I would avoid high humidity for Cephs cuz this encourages a lot unwanted issues. They grow perfectly in low humidity with plenty of fresh air...
