Below are a few shots (by request) of a plant I started from seed in vitro in 2008. It's tentatively named "FTS Yellow" for obvious reasons ;)

Matt thank you very much for the picture of FTS yellow, that's a pretty nice VFT! :)


That one has upright growth, you should try to have a VFT like FTS Yellow X Low Giant, perhaps you can get a VFT yello that grows low lying to the ground! :)


I look forward into having that VFT next year in spring! ;)

Right, me too. Most of the clones named "Yellow" don't really look all that yellow to me and that's why I've never added one to my collection. But this flytrap is freaking yellow, I mean canary or banana yellow ;)

It flowered this year and the flower stalk is in TC and is clean, but not forming callus. Sometimes it takes a while and sometimes the flower stalks just die. Hopefully it takes!

whoa cool! you should try breeding the yellow one with the red one to make orange babies! is that even possible? if u already have some orange ones please post pics. i would love to see some. :D

wasnt tht one in the photo contest? it looks awesome, but would be even better if it was completly orange.

wow Matt, that thing is yellow alright!

i personally don't like light colored flytraps, i prefer a darker flytrap,

but man, that thing looks pretty cool
