Very nice! FTS Purple Ambush does color up quite well for us in the southern Oregon sunshine. I've never actually grown it under strong LED lights to see how dark red it can get though. Good to see it getting color already down in Texas this early in the spring!

My Purple Ambush plants were unhappy about the cold, overly wet winter this year, so I unpotted them in late spring and put all of them in one 14-inch / 35-centimeter bowl pot. They're really enjoying North Carolina's hot, humid weather. This one stood out from the crowd:

I'm surprised that it's this red at the height of summer. I don't have to wait until mid-fall for this plant to light up!

FYI - If you've read that a single growth point will produce no more than 7 traps, this plant refutes that notion. There is only 1 growth point here, and the plant has cranked out 11 traps with 3 more on the way.
