Anyone want to give anything away for free? I'm taking anything.

What are you looking for, seeds, plants, or propagules?

Are you willing to pay for shipping?
It costs me $7.20 to ship a small flat-rate box.

I usually have extra Drosera capensis plants.
But they're a Sub-Tropical plant and it is a little late in the year to ship them from Milwaukee.
Freezing solid will kill them.

Propagules, like leaf cuttings or root cuttings are also temperature sensitive.
They can be shipped in a padded puffy envelope that costs $3.50 postage.

Seeds can be shipped year round.
The forum has a seed bank that sends seed out to members. flytrapcare-community-seedbank-inventory-t33352.html
There is no charge for seed.
Your cost is two envelopes and two stamps for an SASE.

If you disclose your location, there may a member living nearby who will be willing to share.

The philosophy here, for myself and many members is "Pay It Forward".
We are happy to help new growers get started.
But we expect that they will help others, in the future.

Thank you. Yes, I'm willing to pay for shipping and I'm really looking for anything. Seeds, cuttings, or just live plants. I live in CA.

There are active CP groups in the LA and San Diego areas. Check them out. There may be CP growers in your home town.

If you're still looking for something like a Drosera capensis this coming April, drop me a PM.

Do you have some good suggestions or reliable sources that you've brought from before

I've bought from California Carnivores, Predatory Plants, and Cascade Carnivores with no problems.

If you're in the LA area, the Los Angeles Carnivorous Plant Society is having a meeting on December 15 at the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce building.
