Growing flytraps from seed takes time, dedication and also requires technique. Young seedlings are more vulnerable to shock, disease, or pests than a larger more established plant, and you need to know what you are doing to keep them alive and well.

Nobody is stopping you from trying, if that's what you really want to do, but we are just giving you some friendly advice to start off with an easier and more established plant to care for a while.
