I sowed some flytrap seeds that I got from the seed bank (so I know they are legit and viable) on the 14th of September. It's been over two weeks since then and I've seen no sign of them germinating. I put them in a pot of peat and spray the top a couple times a day with a spray bottle to keep the seeds from being too overly disturbed. They are sitting in a east facing window right now and I plan on using a lamp for light over the winter. I stored the seeds in a drawer for about a week after getting them in the mail as I hadn't gotten an appropriate pot to use at the time.

Are they simply a loss or just taking a while longer than usual to germinate?

Went to mist my seedling pot this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see the smallest faint green speck in the peat. Was it a seedling? Was it moss? Algae? Cautiously, I grabbed my camera to magnify it via the macro lens and this is what I saw!

So, now I'm shopping for freeze dried bloodworms to be ready to feed my mini monsters. What brand is best? Top Fin or Aqueon?
