Flower?

Would this be what a flower looks like? Should I be worried about the large mass if it is in fact not? One of my plants divisions has already flowered this year so that’s why I’m asking.

I don't think it's a flower, but that's just me. Have you moved it recently to different conditions? Sometimes plants do weird things to their growth points when unhappy

So, I received the plant on the 11th. Then acclimated it from the windowsill (closet I could get to the original owners conditions) to the plant rack over the course of last week. That might be it.

Thought I should also mention that below the mass, there is a small streak thingy on the inside of pitcher. Can’t really get it to show up on photo all that well :/

Looks like a new growth point forming.
On the first photo, I only got a Heli flower once and didn't notice until it was already a decent size so I wouldn't know.

Well, I think my intuitions were correct

This is really awesome because the flower stalk it had when it arrived hasn’t made another flower since (and it was only 2 into it
).

Is this the weird growth point stud you were talking about @Sundews69?

Man, I'm dumb. I just completely missed your markings in the first pic. I see that that is a flower now lol.
Yes, it was, but it looks more normal now, if we're looking at the same thing

??? The flower spike, flopped over over night apparently?? Should I be concerned? I swear it was almost like straight up in the air a day ago.

So it decides to throw out this big flower stalk, do nothing, then start to die? Why is this happening? How can I get it to bloom properly

My sundews do that when they dry out or when they receive a large and sudden amount of light. Could that be it? My plants all dried out because my humidifier ran out of water quicker than I thought. They all are about 1/4 of the size they were and the flowers died.

That could be it; I haven't been able to properly tend to my plants recently. Imma go water them now lol.
