First flower of the season

Hi all,
This was officially my first flower to open this year, it's an S. alata, these guys are always my first to bloom, they are native to my home state, Louisiana. Others are right behind!

Alright spring has sprung, or, is springing. Lovely flower! Lucky you down in the south. Getting warmer here and getting them out when it stays above freezing. Congrats!
Maybe some divisions to come?

Maybe so, cwm1! Here's another nice flower that just opened. It's a Sarracenia hybrid of unknown parentage that i grew from seed. I like the delicate pink hues in it.

Thanks, Matt! I found a photo from a couple years ago that may have been a similar cross. I think it might have flava x purp crossed with something else! Lol.

Thanks! Not sure if i still have any of these, until all the flowers pop up! I have a few "mystery" hybrids.

Wow, yeah, those flowers in the second photo are even more beautiful! I have a S. purpurea cross that makes the same gorgeous pink flowers in the spring. I can't recall what the cross is, but I think it is flava...
