I've had this plant flower for me before, but I never caught an open flower.

However, although the flowers are pretty, I think the flower stalk is the best thing about this species. Now if I could only get my hands on Drosera chimaera... fuzzy stalks AND a latifolia-esque growth habit? Yes please!

Yep! Here's how it looks now:

And here's how it looked a month and a half ago. As you can see, flowering definitely takes a lot out of it. Worth it though!

It's var. tomentosa from Maro do Jambeiro, Graomogol, Brazil.

Right now it’s in my chest freezer, so highs of 75 and nighttime lows around 55 with 80-99% humidity. However, it did great in normal basement conditions, probably 72 highs, 66 lows, and 60-80% RH.

I love sundews.
