Mine are nepenthes truncata and nepenthes aristolochioides (which I always need to google for proper spelling)

Are those yours? I like rajah and ampullaria but I don’t have any nepenthes. I was wondering how difficult it is to start breeding nepenthes in the US? It would be pretty cool instead of having to import all the new hybrids from overseas

I wish they were mine! They're just random pics off the internet. I couldn't find any for sale in the US but am keeping an eye out.

I imagine that being diecious adds an extra layer of complexity but don't know much about the topic. Predatory plants has been breeding nepenthes in the US and have plenty of new hybrids available.

Definitely Nepenthes veitchii. It was the first nepenthes I have ever seen. (From a science magazine as a young child). To this day, I have not layed my eyes on a more beautiful pitcher.

N. bicalcarata. Some say the leaf to pitcher ratio looks bad when it's older (huge leaves compared to the pitcher size) but I still love it. I'm eventually going to have to upgrade my set up to grow it outside of a terrarium though once it starts vining (currently it's in a "Chameleon cantina"). I may just try a heat mat around the pot since the grow room is relatively warm (72-80*F)

Nice species. If you have a dubia I’d love to see pictures.

My favorite Nepenthes that I own is N. ampullaria
This picture is bad because trying to remove a plant from my overcrowded terrarium for a good one will result in several lids coming off of pitchers.

My favorite Nepenthes species I don't have are N. veitchii because of their interesting climbing stems and N. lowii for obvious reasons.

My favorite nepenthes is Truncata. I love the unique shape of their leaves, which makes them different from most other nepenthes. Here's a couple pics of mine. ImageImage

Mine would have to be N. Rafflesiana. Used to create so many different hybrids, probably due to its stunning shape! I mean, c'mon look at this thing! It looks ready to attack! I grew one from a small plant maybe 2 inches in diameter to a big mature plant 2 feet across with 3-4 inch pitchers back in the 90s. Sadly, I put it in my greenhouse and it got too cold and died! RIP!
Footnote....plant in photo not mine, lifted off internet! LoL.Image
