Fans vs air conditioning for greenhouse/grow tent

Hello does anyone prefer using fans or air conditioning for keeping their nepenthes greenhouses and grow tents cool yet humid?

Wouldn’t air conditioning also remove humidity ? I use fans only in my grow tent, both for gentle internal air circulation, as well as for exhaust - to replenish CO2 levels

Depends, a swamp cooler would increase humidity while a traditional compressor ac unit might dry the air out.

I currently have small fans I can use, but my concern is it’ll blow the fog around way too much compared to a swamp cooler, but wanted to hear first hand experience.

Swamp coolers won't really work if the humidity is already high because of the foggers.

It’s high 80’s today and 20% humidity and the grow tent is doin good with the new evaporative ac. Thanks everyone for the tips. The Person I got it from also threw in a little cool humidifier/fan so no drying out here!

do you just have it piped into one of the inlets of the grow tent? Are you pulling air out with an exhaust fan? Please take a photo so I can see how you do it.

It’s just a little portable ac I have cut into the plastic, and I have an exhaust fan.
