Yes I did, had them in test tubes was about 60% germination rate so far. Potted up 3 seedlings that sprouted. Left the other 2 seeds in the water. I put them in the water 11/02 and found the sprouts on 11/08 so 6 days.

Smooter80 wrote:Awesome man. That's very fast germination for any Drosera. It's rare in cultivation so that makes it even better. I'll probably end up trying a few different growing conditions and see what it likes.
I'm really liking the water propagation method, i've gotten finlaysoniana, binata, sp. lantau island, and the neocalidonica within the past 11 days. The finlaysonia and binata seed I had were impressively fast in water, 4-5 days for about an 80%+ germ rate.

Haven't seen much luck with the capensis though. May try them in some sphagnum. We'll see.

Just your good old fashioned magical Walmart great value distilled water, measured at 0 PPM. My temps here in Hawaii are always 79-84 maybe that's it. I'm not sure. The finlaysoniana was the most surprising because I put a few more seeds in the tube than I should have. I had about 10 seedlings all popping up at the same time. I was gonna wait for the rest of the tubes to post results in the water germination section.
