so can you use just a table lamp and a daylight bulb? I do not have a lot of room to set up tubes i have been looing for a portable light and compact but no joy.

i would grow your venus flytraps out side and your drosera capensis i would use a 23 watt light bulb on them from about six inches away from the plant.

Anyone have any kind of carnivorous plant seeds i am willing to make an offer just let me know. GOD BLESS.

@eou812: I would, if I could. I have no outside. I live in an apartment with no access to even a sunny window.
