Hi all,
So I bought my plant in February for Thrifty Foods (That probably means nothing to most of you, but they have no real business selling flytraps) and I only repotted it about three weeks ago. I was looking at it yesterday and I noticed that some of the new growth in the center did not look like a leaf and trap but a flower bud. I have the plant outside on a south facing window sill and it should be noted that the weather have been very on and off here.
Well here is a photo of it:
Now I was wondering if it is just the conditions are finally just right or was it stressed during the repotting, as many plants will force flowers if stressed correctly.
Well regardless I am looking forward to cutting off the stalk once it grows a little more and trying to root it.
