Hey guys I just wanted to know how to get Drosera Regia Seeds to germinate and how to care for them when they do germinate. Water, lighting, humidity, soil mix etc. I will be receiving some Drosera Regia seeds and I want to be prepared for when I receive them. All help and care tips is appreciated.

For me, Drosera regia is a very easy species to germinate. I sowed mine on a perlite/lfs mix. Make sure the lfs doesn’t have too many big air pockets as they won’t root into those while small, and can kill young seedlings if they germinate on a strand of lfs with no soil immediately below it. I’d keep them standing in a cm of water, so the soil always stays wet to moist. Although, I noticed that they don’t seem to like things too wet when small. Humidity is irrelevant as long as the soil isn’t dry. Make sure they have as much light as you can give them. They also appreciate frequent feeding.

i just sprinkled my seeds on top of the soil. kept the pot in a dish of water and let the soil soak up the water and keep damp. the top of the soil is kept under a bulb about an inch away. about a month later it sprouts.
