Grasshoppers keep eating my Dreamsicle flowerstalks. Unfortunately, they do it without getting stuck on the leaves.

Can't the flytraps eat the grasshoppers?

They are probably too strong and they can chew their way out.

Don't have any flytraps large enough.
Really ought to get a B52/DCXL or something.

If I catch big grasshoppers in the act, I chop them up and feed them to my Sarracenia purpurea and rosea plants. Nepenthes are also good for meting out punishment.

ok ok, here's one of my dreamsicles. There is one flower stalk growing, hopefully it doesn't get eaten by those grasshoppers.
