Well, after weeks od doing SHSAT preps and begging, I was able to convince my parents to buy me a drosera filiformis all red.
I chose that variety because it needs no dormancy, and I like the color. I know about all the basic care it needs but, how often does it flower?
I've heard it flowers in spring, but I am not sure if it flwoers once ( like a vft) or various times. Does anyone have some experience with this
( coline I think you have all red you should know :P)? I will post pictures when it arrives. :D

Well, my plants all died after growing some 3cm, for no aparent reason, I think maybe 2 are still almost dead, but for flowers on these species I have no experience.

I only got the "tracii" and typical, just recently, and flowerstalk broke after shipment, but the tracii has made a new one already (within 3 weeks time) so i guess they can flower multiple times, and usually tropicals flower more often then temperate species (in sundews at least)

Precisely, they do flower a lot, I normally have flowers all year long with all my sundews, and none at all with VFT, filiformis nor sarracenia.

Of course, if you get them going we could do some trading

I haven't got my cuttings to flower, but they did undergo a short dormancy period from late autumn to mid winter, forming hibernacula. The weather is temperate where I live.

Cool, I saw Aaron's video on youtube, and I heard from there they flower only in spring.

Is it me, or are the hardest days of your life when a plant is being shipped, and you must wait :P

I kind of have an internal clock that tells me: go check when was the mail sent!
So I go, and precisely that is the day it is registered in the national mail, and after that, only 2 days pass maximun until I get the package. In this cases it helps that I compare previous orders in the time they take

LOL me too. Right now I am waiting for 5 plants, and I was expecting the venus flytrap to arrive, and when I saw it wasn't there I screamed as loud as I could, I was SO mad.

Shhhhhh... they are alive... the last ones I had were placed in between big pots of other drosera, and have not being fed at all during this time, expecting it would help.
