My drosera capensis started to flower and I was looking forward to it blooming but instead they look like they're starting to wither, it happened over 2 days so some help would be nice

Most drosera flowers don't stay open for very long, usually and hour or so. In fact it probably opened and closed already and you missed it. The flowers will open one at a time and they are self fertile so as long as you give it bright light and appropriate moisture you'll have more seeds then what you want.

If you want seeds leave the stalk until it starts to brown down the stalk and then cut it off and let it dry out. Most likely after that you can just tip the flower stalk upside down and the seeds will fall out if not you can pull the dried flower petals then massage the bud until the seeds fall out.

You have to watch the flowers all day or be there at the right time to see them flower. They're really isn't much to the flowers so you're not missing much. I think my favorite dew flower would be drosera adelae.

i would imagine the white flower would make it an alba, but i would imagine that it might have opened and closed, which is great as i have a mate who wouldnt mind some seeds so thats where they'll go i will try to spot one as it opens but it has the appropriate moisture and light so we shall see shallnt we
