Update 2/1/2010: Seed packets are all gone. Offer closed.

I have five packets of Drosera Capensis 'Alba' (albino) seeds. There are about 50 or so seeds in each packet.

I'm only asking $2.00 to cover shipping costs (paypal, or pay by mail).

USA shipping only, sorry.

Step 1: Copy/paste and add your name to the list below.
Step 2: PM me your mailing address and how you would like to pay the $2.00.

Drosera Capensis Alba seed packet:
1. Timbotide - mailed 11/17
2. Offer is temporarily closed. PM me if you want to see if I have any packets left.

Below is a pic of the contents of one of the five seed packets. The seeds are tiny, about 1mm long.

Can I go ahead and germinate these or do they need cold stratification?
Thanks a bunch.

Sow immediately - capesnsis are subtropical.

peat/sand mix, ~80 degrees temps, and increased humidity (ziplocs or saran wrap) are ideal.

Veronis, Can I ask how you separated the seeds so cleanly from the dried husk of the seed pod. Did you just take your time, or did you find a time-saving trick?

In any case, good job

Thanks-Bud

Ya, I didn’t think there was too many easy ways- Veronis, I admire your patients . Some got a good deal for nice clean seeds.

It's not worth the trouble usually. These had minimal pieces. Seeds usually roll, husk doesn't. You can basically play cricket with the seeds on an angled sheet of paper. Roll them onto a second sheet to separate and pick out straggling parts manually.
