My newish Drosera adelae produced flowers, quite a thrill! Looks as if they are forming seed cases now. If there's seed inside, I'd like to collect it. I put a cello bag over, with pin holes near the top for air exchange. Is this okay? Is there a better way?

That might work. My concern would be that you might get mold growing on the pods because of the moisture inside the bag.

You can use small mesh drawstring bags, that what I use if I dont want to lose any seed or if I dont want any cross pollination. Just be sure to get ones with a tight mesh pattern, if the holes are too big it wont do anything for you. I used to use small cheesecloth bags, but drosera seed is so small it gets stuck in the fibers.

I use plastic sandwich bags to store my drosera seeds. It's really easy to zip the bags over the flower stems and collect the seeds.
Just be careful for mold when storing seeds in platic bags and it's somewhat difficult to remove seeds from the bags.

Thanks all. I haven't had a mold issue yet... but better be prepared. If mold starts on the seed cases, what is the best strategy?
