:? Alright I'm new to venus fly traps. This is my second one (my first died due to my cats getting a hold of it). I live in Kansas so the weather is relatively moderately and the winters are just right for dormancy I believe. I keep mine indoors in the window which is pretty well lit. I was trying to get it to go dormant but now I don't know if it's dead or not. I've included a picture and would love some input! Thanks in advance

That’s probably dead. It looks like it hasn’t been watered in a very long time. While they don’t appreciate sitting in water during dormancy, they also don’t do well if they get out completely!

It looks dead. Flytraps don't like to dry out completely. It looks like it hasn't been watered for a while. Flytraps also need to be outside unless you have growlights. Windows filter the light too much.
