I bought a phalanx from cooks carnivorous plants and they dont seem to have their signature long lashes. maybe its because theyre plantlets but it seems a bit short like a typical. has anyone grown it from seed or propagated a phalanx let me know if this is what it looked like before they grow long lashes? thank you!

It's just a youngster, plenty of Cultivars look like typicals when they are young. When it gets out of dormancy I can guarantee you it'll get longer lashes.
