Hello again!

My sundew caught a fly on it's own, so I guess it doesn't matter the size of the dew they make. Just that there has to be dew. I just wanted to ask if sundews need stimulation for them to digest bugs since it seems that the fly died from the sun before it got to move around much.

Also there is some weird growth on one of the plants, it looks like a fuzzy ball. I'm guessing it's a flower but I'm not sure.

No stimulation required, temperature, water and plant health make the difference in movement speed. Looks like the 'fuzzy ball' could be a flower, I couldnt realy get enough magnification to be sure.
Cheers

when they are happy they can have a few active flower stalks at a time. unless i want seeds i just snip the stalks off or i will have little capes popping up in other pots everywhere.

this pot was next to a cape last winter
