Pretty. I just had my first new trap open up and within 2 days it was already pretty red. Surprising how fast it turns. Nice picture.

Wow! I'm jealous.. Only the smallest of my typicals is getting traps opening up. They are not that red. Maybe the weather here is too cold still (no more overnight freezes though). What city do you live in?

Thank you!

Kailey,
Nick,
Lily,
Jason,
Adam,
Matt,

It looks like I got real lucky this year and got some good growth.
Adam, I'm in Prescott, AZ which is in Northern Arizona in the middle of the Bradshaw mountain range. It still goes below freezing at night so I bring my plants in.

Thank you again to everyone for the kind words.

I'm trying to be disciplined and have moved my plants indoors until it gets warm enough outside. I'm going to post a new topic regarding temperatures and growth rates. Here in Vancouver, I think the cooler air is stifling the growth rate of the plants even though the daytime is getting quite long.

Adam,

I think you are on to something here as last year I also noticed the cooler air stifling the growth rate of my plants. I'm going to keep putting then inside at night until mid May because it seems to be working very well.

I noticed my non-carnivorous plant, the Mimosa, not doing too well with the lower temperatures. Just look at my signature, that's the weather from Wilmington, NC.
