It's worth it. Have you cleaned out a cat box recently? :D

No, I don't even have a cat, but I thought it was a funny concept

when i got my cats young, i made sure they knew what a litter box was. . . i threw my cat in a room with a litter box and food, and told him to use it. He learned pretty fast haha, his reward was to venture the house afterwards.

I think it's pretty instinctual. Alley cats will try and find sandy ground (even flower pots) to do their business in.

Our cat Stitch knows that my pots are off limits...let me give you a little formula:

Curious Cat + Well meaning spray from spray bottle = Not So Curious Cat.

My work here is done.

This is generally my method of introducing my cat to a new area. He can explore away from the litter box- so he has no excuse for NOT being able to find the litter box.

Unfortunately my cat is pretty dumb, and can't seem to remember things past 2 minutes (and even that is being generous), and NO punishments work on him (I've tried everything short of beating him). At least he's cute, and when he's playing around he's pretty entertaining.
