Hey there Ajay,

Demineralised water and distilled water should both be fine, as long as the bottle doesn't say it's had things added to it for extra flavour. Distilled (also known as deionised) water is usually used in car batteries and irons to stop limescale from building up and causing problems, I use this type of water myself and haven't had an issue.

Hi Ayjay
Both are absolutely fine for your plants, but just to be a little pedantic, distilled water isn't also known as as deionised water, as they are produced from completely different processes. Distilled, as its name suggests is a boiling (distillation) process, whereas deionised is basically filtered, passed through a reverse osmosis membrane and dionising medium to remove the rest of the ions. Deionised water can be as pure as distilled water.
Deionised water is also known as demineralised water.
Cheers
Steve
