D. Intermedia Seeds from seed bank needs cold Stratification?

Hi forum friends , noob question.

I’ve got some d. Intermedia seeds from seed bank back in September and sowed it right away when I received it.

But a month passed and I saw the capensis that I got as bonus in the mail germinated but no sign of life in my intermedia pot still.

Should I have done cold Stratification on the seeds before I sow?

Yes, the "temperate" label indicated cold stratification was necessary. However, it's not too late.
Put the pot with the intermedia seeds into a bag and put it all in the fridge for a minimum of four weeks, I suggest eight.
Make sure it doesn't dry out, check it weekly, rewetting the media as necessary.
You could still get germination.

If the packet had a harvest date, that should tell you how long to stratify. If it was sometime in the last 6 months you should be good doing 4 weeks. 6 weeks if they were collected in the past 6+ months. 8 weeks if they were collected in the past year or so.
