I know plenty of people who grow vft outdoors in locations where it is very hot and humid year round. Just curious if anyone has seen or has grown vft outdoors in locations with year round cold/cool and dry weather. Someplace like Iceland where the yearly temps range from 28°F in the winter and 55°F in the summer. Does the midnight sun (24hrs of daylight) make up for the cooler than normal summer temperatures? How would the different photoperiod (20hrs darkness in winter, midnight sun in summer) and permanent cold (but not freezing) weather effect the plants?
