Looks like i've been kicked out of cpuk forum due to some inappropriate comments I made.
Although it is tiring having people in the northern hemisphere telling me vfts need winters below 10 degrees celcius to have a good dormancy when according to Yates garden guide "Flora" you can grow them outside all year round here is Aus except for the extreme tropical north. It's probably got more to do with the extent of the temperature drop in winter in relation to the plants existing summer conditions moreso than any exact numerical figures.
